Description: ABOUT THIS CARD: Vintage 1954 Aguila "El Cine" film star trading card issued out of Uruguay, this is #21 featuring Ramon Novarro and May McAvoy. Small card measures just 1-1/2" wide X 1-5/16" tall, on a paper stock similar in thickness to construction paper--not too flimsy, but not a typical card stock either. See grading info and especially the second scan as this card came from a collection that was either soaked or steamed from an album. Single card from a set of 300 issued out of Uruguay in 1954. You'll find the set this card comes from checklisted on The Movie Card Website's C-K miscellaneous index as simply "El Cine." This sale is for the single card named in the title and shown above. GRADING - CONDITION: Card was steamed or soaked from album pages, so slight ripple with some soiling/staining including some paper residue on back as shown. Thus grades G or 3/10 at best, but front of card looks pretty decent with no creasing. Scans show both sides of actual card for sale.
