Description: BRAND: Unknown Manufacturer. Could be Heisey. "Star Diamond Cross Hatch" design. Rare antique piece. SIZE: 8 5/8" high. Top measures approx. 4" in diameter. Base is 2 3/8" diameter. Heavy thick cut glass that weighs over 4 lbs. DESCRIPTION: This was a wedding gift to my grandmother for her 1915 wedding and has been in the family ever since--stored in a china cabinet on display all these years. Never used. The design is very intricate, very tactile with deep cutting, and has a slightly scalloped thick top edge, cut cross hatching on some of the diamond shapes, a thumbprint handle, and a star design base. May be American Brilliant since it was manufactured in early 20th century. CONDITION: Beautiful condition. Stored in a china cabinet for 100+ years. No chips or cracks. There is one light scratch which may be from the manufacturing process (too light to photograph). CARE: Hand washing recommended for fine crystal. MATERIAL: Heavy cut crystal Weighs 4-5 lbs.
