Description: This is a rare 18th century Dutch carved frame. Its rabbet (the opening for your art) measures 6.75” x 4.75”. Each side of the frame is 4” wide. This frame was originally larger but the former owner reduced it to a smaller size. It does have some condition issues: It has been repainted black. The corners wiggle. The inner lip of the frame has cracks and chips.
