Description: Here is rare Antique Venetian Fancy Glass Beads beaded necklace featuring these wonderful cream melon shape beads which were worked on while the bead was hot hot. The bead maker used a tool to make the indentations on the bead body and then decorated the hot hot glass with ribbons of yellow and black glass AND ribbons of avventurina glass too! Very nice! Necklace is 17" long which makes this a choker style necklace. There are 29 Venetian fancy melon glass beads which graduate in size from the large center bead which measures 12 mm on down to the samller berads at the end which measure 7 mm. There are 90 clear glass spacer beads that measure 2 mm each. Beads are in excellent condition. I see one bead with a popped air hole. This necklace is strung on cord and it is tight. Since these glass beads are made by hand there will be variations in style, size, and decor. Please study the pictures carefully as they are an integral part of this listing.
