Description: Pictured is an early solid brown Albany slip glazed pitcher offered for sale. The bulbous, spherical pitcher is embossed with the "Poinsettia" design which is more frequently seen in blue & white stoneware. This is the first example in brown seen through the years. It measures 6 3/8" in overall height. It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs whatsoever. Noted is a small unglazed, bisque area on the brim of the spout, inmanufacture.
