Bowl is stamped on the bottom with ELPCO, Made in USA, China. Made by East Liverpool Potteries Co. that was in business for only a short time, from 1901 to 1903. In June of 1901, six small eastern Ohio River potteries merged to form the East Liverpool Pottery Co.. Just two years later in July of 1903, there was a meeting in the living room of Robert Hall to dispose of assets of the company. Hall was extremely disappointed and subsequently plowed his share of the assets into the creation of a new pottery name. The Hall China Co. was born."
