RARE LIVE PLANT 3ft Pithecellobium Tortum Brazilian Raintree for bonsai

Description: The plant I ship is about 2-3ft tall. Last two pictures are of one of actual plants. Brazilian Rain Tree is great Bonsai material. It forms crooked stems and branches and gets a peeling grayish bark. It has compound leaves with 3 pairs of bi-pinnate leaves. The plant does have thorns. It also gets white powder puff type flowers that are fragrant AND attract butterflies! This can be grown as a medium size tree in tropical locations as well. It needs to receive a lot of direct sunlight and requires average water and fertilizer. Avoid freezing temperatures. The straight bole can be 30 - 50cm in diameter.The tree yields a very ornamental wood and so is commonly harvested from the wild. It can be used as a pioneer tree for restoring woodland and, as a very ornamental tree that is valued especially for its decorative trunk, it is suitable for landscaping purposes in urban areas.The plant has a very restricted range and its habitat is under severe threat from human activity. It is classified as 'Critically Endangered' in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species(2011) Pictures depict grown up plants and its possible applications.Height of the plants is measured from the base of the root ball.Pot may not be included. Fertilizer that I include as an option is an excellent choice for professional growers or nurseries if you grow plant in a pot. I personally use it for all my plants.
