Description: RARE ORIGINAL WORLD WAR TWO IMPERIAL JAPANESE ARMY TYPE 92 OR 93 PARATROOPER NIGHT WRIST COMPASS. This wrist compass is either a Type 92 or Type 93 night wrist compass as issued to Japanese army paratroopers. The face is black with a luminous needle, orienting arrow & dial markings. The compass is in working condition & the side lever locks the needle in place. The other lever allows for the bezel to be rotated one click at a time or to be lifted and rotated freely. The crystal is free of any cracks or chips. The case appears to be made of brass showing some wear & age. The compass measures 1 1/2 inches. The wristband is missing & is not included, just the compass as shown.
