Metropolis, ILL Click images to enlarge Description This bottle was acquired from a longtime collector in Western Illinois. It is appealing, desirable & collectible. The Sun Crest Brand was introduced in 1938 by the NuGrape Co. in Atlanta, Georgia. This bottle is from the Kreuter Bros. of Metropolis, ILL. The bottling company was a family affair, owned by the Kreuter siblings. Several branches of the Kreuter family were involved in bottling soft drinks. The brothers opened their bottling operation in 1933. The small-scale franchise served only two delivery routes contributing to thr rarity of this bottle. We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired. No attempts to clean this item have been made by us. It was only dusted off for photos. the photos accurately depict the condotion of this bottle. There are no chips or cracks. This will make a great addition to any home or collection.
