Description: Hi there! Up for auction here is a very rare original Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse animation drawing of a Moon Man, from the episode "The Case of the Moon Giant" (circa early 1960s). See exact matching screencap above, as this frantic moon man come to a stop to tell his superior (in moon-gibberish) about the trespassers (Courageous Cat and Mintute mouse) who have arrived on the moon. This episode has some unusually funny and off-kilter moments in it.It can be viewed for free on TUBI: https://tubitv.com/tv-shows/523467/s01-e13-episode-13?start=true Courageous Cat was a 'funny animal' super hero show created by Bob Kane (most famous for being the 'creator' of Batman), and produced by the infamous Sam Singer (known for such low-budget 'gems' as Paddy the Pelican and Bucky and Pepito). In spite of its low budget and often nonsensical plots, the show is remembered fondly by many, and has a achieved a cult status. Art from the series is very hard to come by (especially of villain characters), and the few pieces that have come to the market recently have fetched very high prices. Condition: This over 60 year old production used drawing has some handling wear, crinkling, but still a great and very rare piece. This fun and scarce piece of animation history would make a great gift or addition to your collection.
