Description: Offered here is a high‐quality Zinc Plated Low Rod Base. These bases will fit any Charles Eames for Herman Miller shell with the narrow shockmount configuration. The dimensions of the narrow shockmount configuration are: 7 3/8" side to side in the front, 4 3/4" side to side in the back, and 6 3/4" front to back. The seats pictured are not included in the listing, they are shown as an example only. Screws to mount to the seat are included with our bases. These are zinc plated, rather than chrome, because zinc plating was one of the vintage original finishes.
