They seem to develop a fog or haze inside over time, even if the viewer was stored away new.The housings were painted inside with a flat black paint to minimize internal reflections The contacts were cleaned and serviced The advance and focusing mechanisms were checked and lightly lubricated for smooth operation.Comes with a copy of the original instructions.Uses two "D" size batteries (not included) Works perfectly and smoothly advances the reels with correct picture alignment.
