Description: This is the compass I used on my sea kayak for the last 10 years or so. It proved its worth in getting me safely home through heavy morning fogs off the coast of Maine. It will lock onto the deck of a kayak or other recreational boat with a slight turn to the right. It mounts over the heads of two screws (not included). It was perhaps overkill for kayak use, but at the time I wanted something that made my course evident. There is a slight scratch on the glass that you can see in the 4th photo, just to the right of the 'E' in 'Ritchie'. The compass measures 2.5" high with a diameter of 4" at the base.
