Description: Here's a six piece place setting by Royal Albert of England in the ever popular "old country roses" pattern. Old country roses began production in 1962 and is still being produced today. It features sprays of pink, red, and yellow roses around a ribbed rim, with gold trim, on a pure white bone china body. The backstamp on this set would indicate it that it was made between 1962 and 1974. Included here are one each: 10 3/8" dinner plate, 8 1/8" salad plate, 6 1/4" bread plate, 5 1/4" dessert/fruit bowl, 5 1/2" saucer, and 2 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" diameter (at rim) tea cup. The pieces are pre-owned and may have been used. However, they show no sign of it. I believe they have only been displayed. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, or evident gold wear.
