This listing is for a rough slab of Royal Sahara Jasper, or Royal Sahara Picture Jasper, found in the Saraha Desert in North Africa. Royal Sahara is a nodular jasper known for pretty scenes and a favorite of both lapidary and collectors. This slab has gorgeous color, pattern, and dendrites. It is a fine jasper for cabochons, as it takes a lovely polish. This piece would make a nice display specimen once polished, but can also be used for cabs. Dimensions are approximately 3.25" x 1.6" (see photos) and 5.85mm thick. Please note this is in an unpolished piece. Weighs 40 grams. Items will ship within 1-2 business days.
