The claw based holder with the three clawed feet is also stamped 84. The double-headed eagle has a crown…. It is in overall very good condition with slight wear seen. There are some dents in the base of the egg & some slight denting on the top side. The gilt interior of the egg is also in overall very good condition. The egg has an older, unpolished patina & should polish nicely….. Placed in the claw-based holder, the unit is about 3 7/8 inches high to the top of the egg & 4 3/4 inches end to end. The egg is about 3 ½ inches across at the center rim. Without the frame, the egg is about 3 3/8 inches high…. It weighs just over 19.45 troy ounces…. There is no monogram or indication any monogram was removed…. This would be a great addition to your collection!
