Description: Robert Burns (1759-1796) Scottish Poet & Lyricist. As pictured. Hardcover with gold letting and floral design on cover. Some type of vinyl-like paper for front flyleaf with shimmering circular designs. Cover has edge wear, nicked spine and corners, no tears. Binding is slightly cracked in places but no loose pages and it’s holding tight. Pages are in three colors: red lettering, gold designs and black lettering; there are several full page floral color pictures throughout. The publishing firm of DeWolfe, Fiske and Co. was founded in Boston in 1880 by Perez M. DeWolfe and Charles F. Fiske. From 1905 the firm was renamed DeWolfe and Fiske and ceased publishing, therefore this book was published before 1905. As it happens I found one resource on Google that states the publication of this book to be 1890. Please view pictures carefully as it is sold As Is.
