Description: Nice fine at estate sale, these vintage Pyrex Plain Opal refrigerator Dishes are in very good condition, no chips, scratches or stains. There are light marks from the molding process. The smaller lid has a very faint scratch on one end and marks on top. The larger lid has some rough edges on one end as shown in pictures. The dishes themselves are in excellent condition. Dimensions: Smaller dish is 4.25" x 3.25" x 2.5". Larger dish is 6.75" x 4.25" x 2.5" Note on Plain Opal Pyrex: Only a small selection of Pyrex was ever offered as unpainted, undecorated plain opal ware, or "true opal" as collectors like to call it. Offered in the mid to late 1950s were 500 series refrigerator storage dishes. They can be identified by the lack of a back-stamp. If marked at all, there will only be a mold number, often in a lightly-embossed circle the diameter of the typical back-stamp. These dishes have this marking on bottom. Please look closely at all pictures as they are an important part of this listing.
