Description: Set of 6 T & V Limoges Pink Rose & Greek Key Bread Plates Circa 1907-1919 Nice antique porcelain bread plate. Decorated in the center with a large gold star surrounded by smaller gold stars. With pink roses along the border and a gold Greek key design and gold gilding along the edge. Marked in green T & V Limoges France. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Tressemann & Vogt in Limoges France between 1892 and 1907. Also marked in mark Limoges T.V. in a pink bell. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Tressemann & Vogt between 1907 and 1919. These have some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Each plate measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces.
