Description: For sale is a unique silver plating recipe in a dry powder form - HANK'S OLD-TIMEYSILVERPLATE RECIPE. Simply by adding a small amount of distilled water, thisunique product adds pure silver to your worn silver plate items (best results on hard base metals such as brass, copper, nickel and bronze) by molecular transfer plating. The result is permanent and will not chip, flake or peel. Packaged in a 1 fluid oz. amber glass bottle; 25 grams measured out using an electronic scale in a dry powder form. No liquid to leak or spill: mix up a batch when you are ready to use. Read and follow directions. Please take a moment to review these simple instructions before using:Cover all work surfaces. Wear gloves and protective clothing;Wet (moisten) and dissolve a small amount of the powder using distilled water, mix;Apply liberally with a good quality paper towel section, cotton pad or clean cloth to a small area;Rub firmly for 25-30 seconds;Buff surface with a soft cloth. A beautiful shine will appear as the silver plating process is complete. If necessary, reapply to badly worn areas, or to increase the thickness of the silver desired.RINSE! When finished rinse the piece with water to neutralize the chemical process, then dry.REMEMBER: WET - RUB - BUFF - RINSE - DRY!NOTE - This product will NOT be effective on soft base metals (like lead or pot metal). Always try on a small test area before proceeding. To illustrate the product's effectiveness we took an identical pair of Sheffield plate wine coasters (pair shown in the photos; both showing major copper bleeding) and treated one coaster. The difference is amazing: the photos reveal the treated coaster looks as if the silver surface is fully restored.Today, both coasters have been treated and now look as good as they did almost 150 years ago. The tea caddy had serious copper bleeding through the plate; the hot water urn had large patches of brass bleeding through. Now look at them! When these items need cleaning don't use traditional silver cleaners; instead, use this silver plating recipe as a cleaning agent to both clean while adding additional silver particles. NONE OF THE SILVER PLATE ARTICLES SHOWN ARE FOR SALE, AND ONLY MEANT TO ILLUSTRATE HOW ONE CAN USE THE PRODUCT EFFECTIVELY. Caution: Keep out of the reach of children. Do not eat or swallow. Replace cap firmly after every use. Collect any spillage and dispose of responsibly. Store in a cool, dry place. Never add water until you are ready to use.Packaged in an amber color 1 fl. oz. round glass bottle for safe storage of light-sensitive chemicals. Please read all the information and review all the photos, and email if questions remain before buying this product. REV. FEB. 2020, HANK'S SILVERPLATE RECIPE All Rights Reserved.
