Description: S.Sternau & Co. N.Y. copper and brass pump style oil lamp filler pot. A hard to find item. Used around 1890's to fill oil lamps via a small plunger thumb pump (works). Handle looks to be made of brass. Screw cap does not come off without force. Spout cap has chain attachment. Two small dents found (see photos). Shows antique patina and some wear. Charming and unusual design to add to antique collection or to use as decor. Dimensions: 5" h at spout, 7 3/4" w incl. spout and handle, pot is 3 1/4" diameter. Please look at all pictures carefully.
