Due to the fact that all Mauser stock irons were hand made with loose specifications to fit stocks that were hand made with loose specs therefore the original screws are not all the same length. This replacement screw is of average length between the long and the short therefore it may not fit all stock irons equally. Measures 1 & 11/16" end to end. Most fit 90% of the irons out there.
