Description: You are looking at a very rare TAG Heuer. This is the all black TAG Heuer 980.026 men's 1000 professional watch. This watch is a true survivor. This is an actual 980.026 model. Not only is it an actual 980.026 model, but it is an actual 980.026 model in great condition. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This is a men's size TAG watch with a case size of about 38mm (41mm crown included). The crystal is in very good condition with a few fine scratches. The back casing is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The bracelet is the all black PVD coated stainless steel jubilee band. It is in very good to excellent condition with light wear scratches. The clasp and surrounding area is in very good to excellent condition with light wear scratches. The bezel is in excellent condition with fine scratches. The hands & hour markers look great. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 9.1 out of 10 in condition. The watch looks wonderful, compared to other 980.026 models you will find. A new crystal would make it look fantastic. The watch is all original and it will fit up to a 7.85 inch wrist. I do not have extra links. The bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. I always recommend having seals tested before wearing in water as a precaution, but I would avoid water with a watch of this age. I do not guarantee water resistance in these older TAG Heuer 1000 series. Buy from someone with a 25 year history of selling authentic Tag Heuers, like myself.
