Description: Rubber Soul . 1965 As you might know the Capitol Records was so busy producing this "soon to be platinum" record that some part of it's production was given to the DECCA records on a contractual basis. One year .1965-66 . So, what you are looking at here : Ultra Rare Version. Nobody has the " Rubber Soul " with #8 RIAA on a back ! Well , maybe a few lucky ones do ..... According to Perry Cox' book : #8 on a rear - DECCA fabricator identifier There is also : Smaller than Capitol's pressing ring around a spindle hole ( DECCA identifier ) NO plant stamp identifier on a dead wax . ( because it wasn't pressed by Capitol's plants ) Matrix runout : Starts with " T " which is the contract pressing identification . T1 - 2442 - T14P Jacket and Vinyl are in VG condition . Jacket is intact. Solid paper stock . Taped along the seams . Some ageing signs . Spine is not readable .Original olive inner Vinyl has multiply visual hairlines, light scratches which are NOT affecting playback . Both labels look nice! Sounds Beautiful ! Clear and Loud , no background noise. Just some crackling in between the songs as supposed to be on a vinyl ....... Obviously that DECCA audio crew had come up with their very best here ! This RARE version with #8 on a rear indeed sounds much crispier than their counterparts ... Don't you want to listen to " Michelle " again ? For a 1000th time ? ....
