Description: For sale, a vintage copy of The Hobbit, by JRR Tolkien, published by Houghton Mifflin Co in 1966. This is a hardcover with original dust jacket and it is an ex library copy in acceptable condition. There is a water stain at the top of the pages that starts half way through the book and goes to the end. See the pictures. The dust jacket is glued onto the book's inside front and back covers, but could potentially be removed. Mylar cover is on top of book. Some pages have smudges and there are small rips, but generally pages are in decent shape for an ex library book. The binding is fair and no odors. The book is ex library so it has stamps and card catalog info attached. Also some writing and one place where it has been underlined. Again, see pictures.
