A limited edition of 775 copies printed in 1900. A beautifully bound edition (Riviere & Son): leather with gilt line decoration, five raised bands on spine, silk pastedowns that are framed on the boards, gilt top edge (somewhat dust stained) -- all solid and square, although the leather has been narrowly worn away along the joints (please see photos.) Inside, there is an owner's bookplate. Also, a bit of residue on the front pastedown. The nice handmade paper is clean and unmarked. A very nice antique book and a scarce edition.
