Description: Looking for a good book to leave up to Camp on Winnisquam? Me too! This one is a fascinating account of the road through Sandwich Notch! This forest road, which runs through what is now the White Mountain National Forest, connects Sandwich with Thornton. In the summer months it's open to passenger vehicles and in winter to snowmobiles. If you're looking for the 411 on the Sandwich Notch Road, this book will tell you the whole story. The dust jacket's front flap has been price clipped, and the dust jacket is a little ragged around the edges & shows a spot where an oaf conveniently set his coffee cup down. The fore-edge and tail has a little foxing. The binding has a slight lean to it, ( but otherwise the book is good and solid; and I see no other flaws, (see photos to assess condition).
