Description: THE SEEKERS DELUXE - Beautiful VERY RARE RED Vinyl LP First Pressing, Japan 1968, Limited Edition of the Japan-only Deluxe Series, including the original obi. Offered here is an Australian group, The Seekers, featuring the crystal clear voice of Judith Durham with Athol Guy, Keith Potger and Bruce Woodley. Condition Description: VINYL: Excellent condition on high quality Japanese RED vinyl. The vinyl is glossy with slight scuff marks, barely noticeable and do not affect the sound quality. OBI: Perfect, fully intact obi strip in near MINT condition. COVER: Beautiful gatefold photo cover made with strong cardboard in excellent condition. Very little shelf wear. Remarkably good for its vintage. Outside cover is in near MINT condition but inside the gatefold the surface shows foxing due to age (see photos). INSERTS: Original inner sleeve with pictures of other Odeon albums of the era. LABELS: Odeon Label, a few spindle marks, otherwise good clean labels. Fourteen fabulous songs, recorded in the UK and pressed in Japan as part of the DELUXE SERIES (Japan Only) STEREO releases in 1968. Housed in a strong Japanese gatefold cover, it was released only in Japan on the Odeon Record label. This is an original recording from The Seekers pressed on deep RED "see through" anti-static 'EVERCLEAN' Japanese Vinyl. Their top hits including Georgy Girl and Morningtown Ride appear on this album.
