Description: This is the Original (1sh) movie poster THEM. This original movie poster was used by Warner Bros to promote this movie when it was released in 1954. It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars James Whitmore, Edmund Gwenn, Joan Weldon, James Arness, Onslow Stevens, and Fess Parker. It was directed by Gordon Douglas. This restored, linen backed One Sheet (27" x 41.50") movie poster is rolled. With linen backing, the poster measures 28.50" x 43". Prior to restoration, this original movie poster was Folded. Most original movie posters released pre-1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw or a defect. This original movie poster is graded C8.5, Very Fine/Near Mint. Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc. It is difficult to find original movie posters pre-1985 in C10 Mint condition. PrPrior to restoration this original movie poster was graded a C7 Fine/Very Fine. Restoration corrected the following: small tears along the borders; faint stains along the borders; chips along the borders; pin holes at the corners; and minor wear at the Fold lines which received touch-up. This original movie poster now displays beautifully. We believe that the original 1954 movie poster THEM has excellent investment value. Most sci-fi and horror original movie posters from the two incredible decades of the 1950s and 1960s have tremendous value and investment value.
