Description: My newest venture into improvement comes in the form of upgraded magazine baseplates! This is a baseplate extension using the original hardware for a Magpul Pmag 17! You will get 2x baseplates for the purchase from this listing. These are small enough to fit within USPSA guidelines, and offers a +2/3 so the magazine is easier to remove! I’ve extensively tested multiples styles and this is the best of all worlds that works. Ran over 500rds across 10 magazines and each functioned as intended, with these parameters: -2 quick mag dumps per to ensure feeding reliability -each engaged the slide lock on last round -loaded each mag +2 and dropped from waist height directly on baseplate, each stayed on the magazine and ran through the pistol immediately after -shot casually to ensure nothing broke or came apart It can do +3 and function, however I feel like it’s overdoing it. I recommend only 2, but it has space for a 3rd NOTICE: 3D printing can sometimes create blobs and possibly unwanted spots of overextrusion. This is normal, and unique to all parts. I will have this lightly fitted to the magazine, however it will be somewhat tight on purpose. Expect light file marks along the connecting sides. To install, simply remove your factory baseplate, insert your existing bottom guide into the countersunk hole and slide the new baseplate onto the magazine. I use a pick with a small curve at the top to go through the hole and pull the guide in place to ensure it’s in the slot. If you don’t have one, a paper clip and pliers can make one that also works. If you have any questions, please message prior to purchasing. This WILL NOT work with an OEM magazine, so if the magazine is the Glock brand it won’t work. It will only work in a Magpul brand PMag.
