Description: Three 1940’s/1950’s Ladies’ Delightfully Soft Handkerchiefs. For sale are three vintage flowered handkerchiefs with colorful borders. Two are 12x12.5; one is 11x11.5. The yellow-bordered handkerchief has purple and pink flowers with a center bouquet. It has a teeny tiny black spot on one corner. The grey-bordered handkerchief has dominantly purple flowers in each corner and center; the bright pink-bordered one has a large corner bouquet of pink, yellow and aqua flowers which spread out to center. The handkerchiefs belonged to my mother from the days when “a lady always carried a dainty handkerchief in her purse or pocket.” The soft delicate handkerchiefs are in excellent condition, for over 75 years. They were protected well.
