Description: SPECIMEN: - 1 INCH BLUE FLUORITE CLUSTER SPECIMEN LOCATION: - BLANCHARD MINE BINGHAM - NEW MEXICO NOTE: - FROM THE 1970'S - VIDEO TRANSITIONS TO UV LIGHT HALFWAY THROUGH IN A 1-1/4 INCH PERKY BOX AND THE SPECIMEN MEASURES 1 INCH x 3/4 INCHES x 3/4 INCHES NOTE FROM THE SELLER: To me, the fluorite from the Blanchard Mine has a most peculiar characteristic when exposed to UV Light, that I have not seen with Fluorites from other locations. Under UV Light these Fluorite Cubes turn a really, really Royal Blue color and seem to lose all of their shape definition in the "Ultraviolet Darkness"... especially when viewing clusters... they just all blend together. So, when viewing the "UV" photos and the video and you see a really blue image of the fluorite cubes without much definition you will see what I mean. I can't explain it... but maybe it is to vision, what "noise cancelling" is to sound????
