In this work, Yuji Sakai has beautifully recreated the famous scene from the movie ``Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla'' (released in 1993), in which the cool Godzilla poses in the Suzuka Mountains with his tail raised high to threaten Mechagodzilla.The features of Godzilla (1993), such as its long legs and fearless face, have been accurately sculpted, making it look as if it just jumped out of a movie.At the time of the work's announcement, Mr. Sakai walked around his hometown looking for a background similar to the image in the movie and photographed it, and even sculpted the diorama in front of Godzilla himself and made it into a package with the image in the movie, demonstrating his commitment and deep feelings towards his work.
