Completely externally installed kit allows for automatic operation of the torque converter lock-up (overdrive) without installing the computer!!!! Kit includes instructions. If you trans does not have a 4th gear pressure port, you do not have a 700R4 or 200R4 trans. This kit allows for the automatic operation of the torque converter lock-up, (overdrive), without the need of a computer or manual toggle switch to perform the same operation. With the automatic reduction in engine RPM, you get better fuel economy due to the slower running engine. This kit is installed externally from the transmission and can be used on 700R4 or 2004R transmissions. It contains a fuse holder & fuse that obtains power from a 12V keyed ignition source, a pressure switch that screws into the transmission's 4th gear oil pressure port, and wired to the torque converter connection on the transmission. With the ignition on, upon detecting that the transmission is in 4th gear, the pressure switch is activated. This switches (locks) the torque converter into overdrive mode.
