SIGNED and inscribed by the author on the title page "To Fred" for your long roots in the University. There is an older name tag on the back blank end page for Fred Lenfesty - whom I believe the book was inscribed to. Fred Lenfesty went on after his graduation from University of Tampa to become the founding president of Polk State Community College. The book is in Very Good Condition - some age toning to the end pages. Table of contents include: A university is born, the university moves to the Tampa Bay Hotel, back to basics, the university and World War II, Nance becomes president - accreditation achieved, survival and growth, landmark learning and academic partnership. 94 pages plus index.
