Description: I am not a decoy expert, but this bird looks very old to me. I know there are lots of reproductions available, however, this bird appears to exhibit authentic age wear and is hit by shot as can be seen in the pics. My dad's tag says this bird is from the 1920's, I know he really liked it because it sat on a shelf above his desk for over 30 years! That I can attest to. At any rate, it does look to have significant age to me. A gentleman stopped by after dad passed away and said it was a reproduction. I have been reluctant to offer due to his assessment.
