Some of them almost never show up for sale* These are very scarce and rarely show up for sale. In nearly 30 years of avid tube collecting have only had a few of these. This is a beautiful example, and the filament on this on is GOOD. The VT-3 had reduced filament power requirements as compared to the VT-1 but was still in development at the end of the war and was not made in any quantity. These tubes were originally coded as the Type P. It's believed only 100 or so were made and these were never sold to the public.
