Description: DATING TO THE VICTORIAN 19TH CENTURY FASHIONED OF WHITE COTTON WITH SMALL FLORAL EMBROIDERY RUNNING FROM THE SHOULDERS TO THE OPEN HOLE RIBBON WEAVING DROP WAIST. THE BOTTOM IS IN A FULL EMBROIDERED RUFFLE THAT IS PLEATED AT THE TOP AND LACE INSERTION RUNS DOWN BOTH FRONT AND REAR. THE SLEEVES ARE IN MATCHING EMBROIDERY WITH A SCALLOPED END. BUTTONS CLOSED IN THE REAR. CONDITION: FRESHLY HAND LAUNDERED AND CRISP CLEAN WHITE. SOLD AS FOUND, REFLECTIVE OF THE CONDITION. ONE OF THE BUTTONS IS ABSENT. THERE IS A THUMBPRINT HOLE ON THE SIDE OF THE BELTING WHERE THE BELTING WAS REMOVED. A PINHEAD OF INK STAIN ON THE FRONT RIGHT SLEEVE JUST ASIDE THE UNDERARM SEAM AND THE BOTTOM RUFFLING HAS FIVE SMALL HOLES AND A LARGE JAGGED REPAIR AS PICTURED WITH A FRAYED HOLE JUST BENEATH.
