Description: Up for sale is a vintage 12" General Electric oscillating metal Vortalex fan #272917-1.It has 3 blades that have a 10" span. The cage has a 12" span and a very cool Mid-Century design.It is in nice condition with a little rust in a few spots. It needs a good cleaning down in the crevices.It has been tested and works but it does not oscillate for some reason and I can't turn it back and forth by hand either.The switch has 3 settings: Off, low and high.It weighs about 9 1/2 pounds and is about 16" high.
