This is a vintage Hanson "The Viking" Model No. 8910 Hanging Scale with a remarkable 200 LBS capacity. Made in the United States. It’s built for sturdiness and ruggedness. It measures about 19” long by 3 ¼” wide and weighs just over 5 pounds. The inventor Marius H. Hansen filed for a patent on Nov 10, 1938, for the Hanson Scale Co., Chicago IL. It in great condition for its age with general wear from use and storage. Outside weather wear and rust. This piece is a unique addition to any tools, hardware, and locks collection.
