Description: This girl's necklace is so sweet and lovely... Circa late 1940's to 1950's, this necklace was most likely meant for a young woman, or girl to wear (given its petite size). It consists pod a very delicate and lightweight metal chain, featuring teeny tiny seed 'pearls' (faux pearls), and then a flurry of leaflets adorns the center front section. These leaflets come in a lightweight plastic material (like a sequin, spangle or paillette), in cream color, with aurora borealis style rainbow effect (shades go pink, green and blue when the light hits). All over a lovely, delicate piece. No maker's marks or signatures present (is similar to some Japanese-made souvenir pieces from that time). There is a lobster style class and adjustable length chain closure, in perhaps a brass, or similar metal material. Overall condition is good to fair, slightly delicate and should be worn with care, plus some small signs of wear; discoloration/patina to metal, some surface wear to seed 'pearls', and one brown spot to one of the leaflets. Please review photographs for full details. Measurements: - 7 inch drop length at shortest length setting- 7.5 inch length at longest length setting- 5/8 inch leaflet length Feel free to contact me with any questions or inquiries! ♥,Miss Master *Proud member of the Vintage Fashion Guild*
