Description: Vintage 1940s NICKLE PLATE Large Round Bracket Mount SWING MIRROR, Pullman Train Click images to enlarge Description LARGE VINTAGE SWING MIRROR Wonderful vintage 1940s nickle plated large wall mount swing mirror measuring 12" across the beveled mirror, about 15" tall, 1" deep and 14" wide. Designed to wall mount, it has a swivel design - regular mirror on one side and nickle plating on the reverse. My Dad removed this from an abandoned train outside of Cuyahoga County back in the day. I'm assuming it came from a sleeper car, possibly a Pullman, and is original to around the 1940s or 1950s era, or a bit earlier. Condition is very nice with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - there is a bit of paint around the mount plate and patination (not rust) to the metal backing and hardware. Think this is such a neat vintage large swing mirror - fun addition to any collection or display! Shown with a pool ball for size comparison - 8 ball not included.
