Plastic case could use cleaning though no cracks that I could see. Some minor scratches. Battery compartment looks clean. FM pull up antenna is nice. Carry handle is fine. I put batteries in and heard a noise though could not get radio or 8 track to play...SOLD AS IS and IN NEED OF REPAIR with NO RETURNS.
