The multiple (6) blades are made of stainless steel and are a combination of edges, the handle is made of wood and is ambidextrous. This knife was originally manufactured in Japan in 1982 and comes with a storage case. This knife is a great addition to any collection and is sure to impress. Knife set is being sold as used but it appears, only one of the blades has been used. I cannot see wear on the other blades. Beautiful condition, complete set.
