Description: Up for your consideration is the ORIGINAL FINAL ARTWORK for page 36 of The Real Ghostbusters “Janine’s Genie” novel by Knight Books, featuring the Genie ghost! Originally sourced directly from the renowned English artist Jon Miller, this has been kept safely in my collection ever since. Calling all serious The Real Ghostbusters / Ghostbusters collectors! Looking for something rare, ONE OF A KIND and /or different to add to your ghostbusters collection, or have you completed your US Kenner RGB collection? ….then adding some original artwork to your collection is a must. Knight Books: There were three different Real Ghostbusters novels published by Knight books in the UK. All three were written by Kenneth Harper and featured original illustrations by renowned English artist Jon Miller. Each book was an adaptation of episodes of the animated series and the episodes chosen were some of my favorites. First came Janine’s Genie, followed by Ghosts-R-Us (even though it was actually the very first episode of the show) and finally Slimer, Come Home. Jon used a combination of pencils, ink and screentone to create the art for the books. I think it’s great to see another artists take on the characters, ghosts and scenes featured in some very memorable episodes of the cartoon. Overall excellent condition for age. Artwork measures approx 16 in tall x 11 5/8 wide. It came with a piece of clear transparency that was taped along the top. The tape has since dried out and split.
