Description: Vintage 2-Sided 1940-50's PORCELAIN Gas PUMP PLATE Sign FOR USE As MOTOR FUEL !! Original 1940s or 50s porcelain pump plate in the scarce 2-sided version. One side is a light greyish blue background with black lettering, the other side is white with black lettering. Measures about 7 inches wide, 6 inches in height. No extra charge for bullet hole, what you see is what you get so please view all images before bidding. Lettering is the same on both sides FOR USE AS A MOTOR FUEL ONLY CONTAINS LEAD (TETRAETHYL). Rough condition, bullet hole, rust, scuffs, scratches, etc., but a true survivor and still fairly decent shape for its age. Would look GREAT hanging on the wall in a garage or shop setting.
