The new style have swivel hinges and are more durable (see last pic for examples). Why would anyone want the 'old style' you ask?... Because THIS style was used to make the grenade boxes in the 1986 movie Aliens.If you crave screen accuracy with original "found props", accept no substitute. To be clear in all phases-These are NOT screen used (just the exact correct model vintage items as was used)-These are NOT completed prop replicas (just the accurate foundation) If you wish to make your own accurate aliens grenade boxes, you will need to paint and apply your own decals (not sold here). Start your build off right with these out-of-production RARE vintage accurate boxes.
