Description: This listing is for a Vintage cast iron Birmingham Stove & Range (BSR) no. 8-B (10 1/4") Chicken Fryer/ Deep Skillet WITH unbranded lid or cover. I've researched the cover and I still don't know who made this but you can tell it's very old, possibly 1800's. The cover has a star in the inside center and a #9, and the worn numbers 8 & 2 are visible. The lid fits loosely (technically it is not a fit) but you can get it to completely cover the rim (except pour spouts). At worst there is a slight gap with the cover positioned at its furthest edge. (SEE PHOTOS) There are no cracks, and the fryer sits flat on my glass oven top. Please look closely at the photos I have posted as they can tell you more than I can describe. I am selling the items USED and AS IS.
