Description: Vintage BOURJOIS Evening In Paris Perfume Satin Lined Boxed Gift Set, Complete Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE PERFUME SET Wonderful vintage large BOURJOIS EVENING IN PARIS boxed gift set measuring 12-1/2" wide by 10-3/4" deep and about 2" tall. Featuring a printed foiled paper covered curved flat box with original bow and tassle accent, sides feature 1930s Deco designs as shown - interior is lined in white satin with fitted compartments - holding an unused round sealed loose powder box measuring 3-1/2" in size (Rachel No. 2); a half full screw-cap tube bottle of perfume measuring about 1-3/4" tall; unused rouge pot complete with puff (shade is Brilliant) measuring 1-1/2" in size; unused (I think) talcum powder bottle with shaker lid measuring about 4-5/8" tall; empty Eau de Toilette curved shoulder perfume bottle measuring 5-1/2" tall; and smaller empty curved shoulder bottle with dauber top and wrapped collar measuring 3-1/8" in size. Underside bears the original price tag of E.W. EDWARDS & SONS - I think the whole box was around $5.00!! Condition is very nice with minor paper and age related wear on the exterior and bows - interior reflects leakage from the two larger bottles and coordinating stains to the satin, with a smaller stain on the lid interior as shown. Think this is such a wonderful set - perfect displayed in a collection of presentation boxes - a lovely reflection of the time! Please note - it has a strong perfume smell - not stale.
