Description: Vintage hard to find cast iron version of C Palmer's No 1S wafer maker that has been meticulously restored and is in excellent condition. Most of these you will encounter are cast aluminum. Wood hands shows some minor wear to paint and are still in solid condition with no cracks. Item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process ensures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Item is lightly seasoned with one round of Crisco at 450 for 1 hours. This item was photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item may take on a brown color. Items are much darker under normal light. Photos are part of the item’s description.
